Engineering Magnet
Admission Guidelines:
Captain Shreve High School has incorporated a challenging high-tech pre-engineering program available to qualified applicants within its own district and across the parish.
To apply for the program the student will need to present evidence of the following:
LEAP scores of 730 (ELA and Math) or standardized test scores at or above the 50th percentile in Total Math and Total Reading
2.75 GPA required to be accepted in the program and to remain in the program.
Good disciplinary record must be maintained with no suspensions in order to remain in the magnet program.
Applicants should possess genuine interest in the Engineering area and are expected to maintain a high level of motivation toward academic excellence.
